Graham really couldn't have done more. I hope he doesn't have any feelings of guilt, he gave it his best shot.

Graham of "Graham & Prince" has lost his wonderful terrier. I'm moving some posts about it to here.

I know everyone who has been reading his excellent "blog" will be feeling devastated, as I do.

I'm really sorry to hear this sad news.

Graham, you did everything you possibly could for your lovely boy, Prince. I know he would thank you for this last act of unselfish love and kindness to free him from his pain.

My thoughts are with you, Graham :hugs:

Run safe, free and whole again sweet Prince :wub:

:sad-smiley-009: Thank you all so much for these kind words and those on the blog. It's so sad in many ways, that we all seem to have some experience of the gravity of such a loss - and many of us very recently.

Those of you within reaching distance of your dogs - please give them a big kiss and a scratch in their favourite place from me!

Graham

Have tickled Mollie from you. She says Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz (she's been playing with next door's granddaughter today, kids never fail to wipe her out, mainly cos she can't switch off the maternal instinct/constant state of alertness thing :rolleyes: ).

I started to post another reply to this thread, but it got a bit rambling so I've blogged it instead.

I'll just include this quote, though:

Quote

I hold it true, whate'er befall;
I feel it, when I sorrow most;
'Tis better to have loved and lost
Than never to have loved at all.
